Fugu is the Japanese word for pufferfish and the dish prepared from it. The tiger blowfish (torafugu) is the most prestigious edible species and the most poisonous.
The restaurant preparation of fugu is strictly controlled by law in Japan, and only chefs who have qualified after three or more years of rigorous training are allowed to prepare the fish.
I was walking back to my hotel with my wife after a simple dinner at Saizeriya in Ikebukuro, we saw these tiger pufferfishes swimming in the fish tank outside a Japanese restaurant.
While shopping with my wife in Ikebukuro, Toyko this morning, we spotted Pikachu performing in Pokemon Center Mega Tokyo on the second floor of Sunshine City.

Clione is known as ‘sea angel’. Their wing-like flapping foot enable them to swim. They are shellfish but they have lost their shells over the course of evolution. This adaptation explains the scientific name ‘gymnosomata’ derived from Greek gymnos ‘naked’ and soma ‘body’.
These sea angels were on display in a fish tank in Ishya Chocolate Factory in Sapporo, Hokkaido. I was on holiday with my wife and visited the factory on 4 August 2016. This was the first time I saw such shellfishes, hence I took a video of them.
While out shopping with my wife in Otaro in Hokkaido, Japan this evening, we saw these red Snoopy panties on display prominently in the ladies section.
“You dare to wear these panties?”, I asked her.
She replied, “You mad isit!”
