Proverbs 4:23

Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

箴言 4:23

你要保守你心，胜过保守一切。（或作你要切切保守你心）因为一生的果效，是由心发出。

Our heart dictates to a great extent how we live. This verse tells us to keep our heart with all diligence, making sure we concentrate on those desires that will keep us on the right path. Make sure your affections push you in the right direction. Put boundaries on your desires: do not go after everything you see. Look straight ahead, keep your eyes fixed on your goal, and do not get sidetracked on detours that lead to temptation.
