Bring Solutions To Your Manager – Don’t Bring Problems

When I started my first job after graduation from university in 1985, my boss then gave me this same advice “Don’t Bring Problems To Your Manager – Bring Solutions“.

I live by this principle until today. To put it simply, you are working for your manager, not your company. Make your boss successful and happy first, then you’ll get recognition.

Become a solution-generating employee and you’ll increase your value to your manager and to the company.
